Shishu unnayan Sanstha (SHIUS) is a non profit making non religious non political humanitarian non governmental development organisation. 1st January 1999, let Didar Rasul Bhuinya who was a scholar of Child Psychology and a few local honest sincere and dedicated social workers from varied discipline with an aim to promote the socio economic status of the rural poor and the disadvantage people emphasizing the backward downtrodden children, the organisation formally emerged in September, 2003 at Gaibandha district in Bangladesh. SHIUS it's short name.

In our 20 years glorious journey since its inception, various programs have been undertaken by SHIUS. The Organization sustained relevance by redesigning its strategies in accordance with its philosophy of Poverty Alleviation and empowerment of women and establish to child rights. Presently SHIUS working with multi disciplinary approach such as -- vulnerable group, aged persons, ethnic minority, landless, marginal farmers, climate victims. Over the year, through sincere efforts and acceptance in local and nationality. The Organization also creates better relationships with community people, and local administration and other stakeholders in the working areas.
